How Old do Mentees need to be?
This can vary, but in general between 10 and 18 years old.
Where does the Mentoring take place?
Mentoring takes place within the school at a room directed by the school.

For clients not attending school, sessions can take place in their homes.
Are Mentors DBS Checked?
Yes, a copy of the mentors DBS will be available on request at any time.
Is there a charge for these services?
Yes, although costs can vary dependent on the provision required.
​Bespoke solutions can be provided for individual pupils, or for those not attending school.

Schools normally fund this provision with Pupil Premium or through the mentees EHCP.
Does a contract need to start in September?
No, the service can begin at any time in the school year.
Do pupils need an EHCP to benefit from this service?
No, all young people benefit from mentoring, regardless of need.
Is Parental Consent required?
Yes, we require written parental consent.
Are Mentors safeguarding trained?
Our mentor has an up-to-date Level 3 Certificate in Safeguarding, a DSL level certification.
